My regiment is going to include a whole one of these a day for the next 3 months.

Like anything aerobic you have to get warmed-up.

I expect to be back to my rugby weight of 230 within no time. Bring on the Guiness!

I can only drink Guiness when it's drowned in Bailey's and Jameson.

Sadly, you can count me in on the weight gain drive. Fuckin' holidays.

I hear you Grad...pizza and 24 hour McDonald's all weekend along with who knows how much Bud heavy Friday night, and all day Saturday, 240 to 250 this past weekend...I gaurantee I'll put on between 5 and 10 lbs on Turkey Day. Day consists of waking up after a night of drinking heavily, watching the Macy's Parade and Westminster dog show in HD (joke), eating massive amounts of mashed potatos, turkeye, and a can of black olives, falling into the food coma in front of whatever football game I have on, waking up, heading to my friend's house for the annual Thanksgiving Night Black Out Kegger I believe this year we're going back to Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Took the year off last year from Christmas Ale for Holy Moses. Still got thoroughly bombed outta my mind. Friday is my beer and wine tasting event held annually in my basement...along with a bottle of 12 year Glenfiddich, 18 year Glenlivet (insert Mikey's line from Swingers), and some Jager. I'm lookin' to be around 260 come Monday...who's with me?

I'm out on this one. I have to lose 0.6 pounds to make weight for wrestling......171 lb weight class. Or else I have to wrestle the next class up.......189. :(

Of course, I could just try to gain weight, to be up to the next class.

Decisions, decisions.

I was reading an article that said even elite athletes that do not compete year round make themselves get "out of shape" for a spell. This is when you hit the weights hardest and gear up for spring training. Apparently there is no major incremental benefit to staying in "top shape" year round but if you get slighty out of shape in the offseason your body will rebuild through memory and there will be a considerable incremental gain with increased training the next year.

This is the logic for marathoners and multisport athletes.

+10 pounds is the limit and perfectly acceptable during the winter (so I read).
