Winter Olympics Interest?

Bobsled, ski jumping, the Downhill.

I like the Winter Olympics better than the Summer Olympics.

I prefer the summer games for the variety, but I love any olympics. Our TiVo will be running pretty much nonstop next week, I think. :)

I love the Winter Olympics, but agree with TMQ on the need for variety. I have nothing against figure skating, but don't make me watch a figure skating exhibition over ski jumping or bobsled or something. To me the Olympics, Summer or Winter, are like a buffet and I want to see a little of everything. When I was a kid I remmber watching a lot of Olympic boxing, but now they'll do a gymnastics exhibition in prime time on the nework and make boxing FINALS PPV or put it on in the middle of the night or something.

last summer olympics the nbchd programming was different as compared to nbc. i believe they are going to do more simucasting this year though.

For the most part the Winter Olympics leave me cold.

Ice Hockey is a highlight.

Other than that there are just too many beauty contest events that are at the heart of the Winter version.

As its past sweeps on the other channels wife and I end up renting loads of movies or just going out.

(This year though its packing for the move - so movies it is).

I think the new (to the Olympics) snowboardcross, where 4 of them race on the course at the same time, should be a good event to watch.
