I need to have a will made out and didn't know how many of you did it yourself or had an attorney do it?

Also how much does it cost to have it done?

Once we had a child we made our wills. I just had in-house counsel do it.. then another atty notarized it.

Make out your will with an Attorney. Choose the fairest person you know as executer.

I'm executer of my brother's will, not his wife.

My wife and I don't have any kids yet but still figured it was a good idea to get one.

Its always a good idea to have a will. Kids or not. You need to know that if something happens, your assets are being distributed per your request.

My brother's Leukemia scare has changed how this family deals in these issues.

i'm certainly no atty however, if you have something to leave behind then you need to express in a will how you want it divided...

If you have no assests, no life insurance policies, nothing along those lines then you have no need for one at this point... would just be a waste of money....Again, just my personal opinion...

I have life insurance, Roth IRA, and State Teachers Retirement that I'd like to leave if something happens to me.

There are basic, Internet versions out there. All wills should be notarised to avoid possible challenges!

Usually doesn't cost that much. You should have an attorney do it for you to make sure there is compliance with Ohio formalities.
