Didn't Will once talk about teaming up with Domani? That, and the idea of going to Cali could be major factors for him. Maybe his dad told him "anywhere but Ohio State"

Like we have said many times, if you are an elite talent, have options, look at the tsun coaching situation and think being part of that is not only a good idea but the best thing you can do for yourself .....well then, these things have a way of working themselves out. It’s probably for the best. Life is unrelenting in its judgement of poor choices and you aren’t a good decision maker. If not this then it would soon be something else.

Seems fairly clear that USC is the compromise option. He wants Ohio State, his dad wants Michigan; let’s just avoid the whole thing and enjoy sunny Southern California.
