Browns will welcome him back if no trade can be worked out, similiar to Gerard Warren's situation.

I think they could get a 3rd rounder for Green, though a 4th rounder may be more likely.

Interior linemen on both OL and DL are getting the most looks at the combine, especially, OG. RB's are also getting looks for a possible 2nd or 3rd round choice.
Courtney Brown is going to be approached about redoing his contract.

Phil Savage was quoted as saying they wil pick the best available player in the draft unless a need is too great to ignore.

Don't even joke about that!

I think it would be a stretch for a few reasons. First, he has character issues and the new Browns management is stressing wanting players with good character. Second, I think many fans would be upset with the pick because of his history with OSU. The front office needs to build up the relationship with the fans and this may not help the cause. Of course, if he is a winner all is forgiven.

Yeah, GM's will do what is in the best interest of the team and taking a chance on MC in the 4th might be worth the risk. He just has so much baggage there has to be 100% consensus that is the best choice for the franchise with that pick.

Do the Browns have any position on their team that isn't a need to great to ignore?? I wouldn't think there's too many guys on that roster that feel secure about keeping their starting position..

that's a very valid point... but you need a William Green type back... and if the Browns are letting him go.. for a 4th pick... then you could infer they will be looking for a replacement.. at a lower cost... ala, a 234 pound rookie who can run between the tackles.. and take it outside if need be... and take on a tackler... kinda describes our butthead of a personality with physical talent...

Had he played the last couple years and severed his head so he wouldn't let the world know he's a selfish butthead... we'd be screaming for this move...

More valuable to Cleveland than anyone else, and the best chance he's had to be the full-time starter. He'd be foolish to pass it up.

I would. Lee Suggs can do the job at RB, and the Browns have plenty of other holes to fill.

The Browns already have that type of back in A. Echemandu. He's 5'10" and around 230 lbs. I think the Browns were pleased in the little bit of action he saw at the end of the year.
He's certainly does not have the talent of a Moc But he would be a servicable #2 back after Suggs.
If they do draft a back it'll be in the fifth round or later. MoC will be long gone. I still Think he goes in the second round to Philly or Oakland.

It would be a huge mistake for the Browns to take Mo C. If you bring him to Cleveland, you would be putting him right back close to home where he will surround himself with old thug friends...He obviously doesn't get good advice at home...he needs to go far away and get a fresh start.
