my curiousity keeps getting the best of me.
pls can we try and refute clarrets allegations? i am talking about a decent argument about him not attacks on his character. because while he was playing for you guys his character was just fine, and when he was recruited i am sure he was just a great man then.
are you really that certain this allegations are fabricated if so why?

1 Why should we refute Clarett's allegations? I think the burden of proof should fall to the accuser. So far we have allegations from several people who can only be characterized as having an "axe to grind". None of the allegations have any proof. Only comments like "I had this job that I didn't really work at, but got paid great. I can't remember the name of the company." And so on.
2 The attacks on Maurice's character have grown over a long period of time. They started while he was in spring ball 2002. Most tried to defend him, but as each incident piled upon another, less and less spoke to defend him and more spoke to criticize him. Here's a small sampling. MC calls out the team in spring practice ... MC is interviewed for the ESPN "One and Done" article ... MC is caught (on camera) screaming at his RBs coach because he was pulled from the (guess who) Northwestern game for multiple fumbles ... MC does a post game interview with his uniform on backwards so as to display his name to the cameras ... during the week before the Fiesta Bowl, MC calls Andy Geiger and the University "liars" because they won't pay for his ticket back to Ohio for a friends funeral ... MC is accused of academic cheating by Norma McGill and the NYTimes ... MC files a false police report ... MC is investigated by the NCAA ... MC accuses OSU and Jim Tressel of being responsible for ALL of his problems in an ESPN article.
That's only a sampling. Each time Maurice got less support and more criticizm until we arrive at today. Even when MC was being investigated by the NCAA, many still tried to defend him ... there is just no more room for understanding MC in the eyes of Buckeye fans. He has taken that away from us and himself.
3 Now who do you believe? Andy Geiger, who has YEARS of respect built amoung the athletic community and has NO, NONE, NADA, incidents questioning his credibility, honesty and integrity. Or do you believe MC, who has left a litany of lies and deceit in his wake. A guy who cries, screams and litigates whenever he doesn't get his way?
Now, which allegation did you want to discuss?

It wasn't that "while he was playing for you guys his character was just fine"...if you didn't have your head up your ass you'd know that he already was having issues while playing for us (yelling at a coach on the sideline during the Northwestern game, outwardly criticizing the school administration before the Fiesta Bowl, etc.). You're here only to stir up shit, and if you continue to do so, your ass is gone. Ya feel me, beyatch?

alright..I have to post this..I was working out in the gym here in bay area and there is the usc fan who's always yapping about trojans..
he asks me with a smirk on his face..'I see u have an ohio state shirt on..do u do homework for the football players'...
I keep a straight face and reply..'no, we just invite people like OJ to practice'..
this guy is taken aback and the smirk goes away from his face..and he starts..'that's not true..we didn't invite OJ...pete caroll has too much respect for human life..OJ stopped by at practice..he wasn't invited'
I am like..well..that's what i read on ESPN and i saw the photos..so if OJ was not invited as u say, don't always belive ESPN..
