You're right, even with the snarky comments people will make about high-paid coaches like Saban, Miles and Kiffin. The fact you coach primarily for love of coaching doesn't presuppose you're stupid enough to turn down $multi-million contracts.MililaniBuckeye;1857841; said:Most coaches don't coach for the money...they coach for the love of coaching.

Florida football assistant Stan Drayton to join OSU staff

By Doug Lesmerises, The Plain Dealer
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Stan Drayton, a Cleveland native and John Marshall High grad who is currently the running backs coach at Florida, will be named to the Ohio State football staff, most likely in an announcement later this week, a source confirmed Tuesday night.
Drayton will replace receivers coach Darrell Hazell, who left the Buckeyes after the season to become the head coach at Kent State.
Drayton was on the Florida staff when the Gators beat the Buckeyes in the national title game after the 2006 season. He has also coached at Syracuse and Tennessee, among other stops.
Though he has never coached receivers before, he has a reputation as a good recruiter. Certainly, he should help the progress that Ohio State has already made recruiting in Florida.
Drayton grew up in Cleveland as an Ohio State fan and still has family in Ohio.
