All the lightbulbs in the house have to be replaced at the same time? I've replaced three just since I have been home. You know, I thought we only had two lights in the whole house?

Yea with them, instead of replacing the bulbs every other MONTH you'll just have to replace the batteries every other WEEK.

Variations in current will do damage to lots of electrical appliances.
The typical voltage in a big city can vary quit a bit.
And lightning can do damage also.

Have to buy them on sale but these things are the bomb. Put one in my outdoor post light darn near 3 years ago and it is still going. Everyone of my kids rooms has them.

Well if you replace all the bulbs at the same time and use all the lights equally then it's very probable that they will burn out in roughly the same amount of time...thank you Bill nye the science guy.
