Can someone please tell me why Florida played 2-8 Western Carolina today? A 1-AA team not ranked in the top 200?

With the expanded schedule, they needed a 12th game, and all of the traditional patsies were unavailable (i.e., Notre Dame had already snapped them up).

HTTR Forever.
There were limited options to add that late in the schedule.
They have patsy #2 this weekend playing FSU.
