Boston, Carter and Glenn..... I really had a hard time choosing between Santonio Holmes and Joey Galloway. I went with Holmes because I think he was the better route runner in college, and that's not a knock on Galloway, just a credit to Santonio.

Say what you want about Boston running his mouth, but that guy could possibly be the best WR Ohio State ever had. It did not translate to best PRO, but the kid was simply amazing at Ohio State.

Carter was an easy choice, the guy was a stud all around.

Glen and Galloway were pretty easy choices.

Now for the last one, Boston is the easy choice but I didn't like his guarentees in college, but Glenn made those too, also, I think I am soured on Boston because of his post-college stuff. So it was Holmes or Jenkins, toss up.

how can you people pick Gonzo? seriously. his name is absent from the record book. i love him as much as anyone, but we're talking about the GREATEST. Gonzo wasn't even the greatest receiver on his own team, let alone all time.

make an informed decision.

There have been 76 polled at this time and only 66 have Carter on their ballots. How can anyone leave off Cris Carter? Thats shameful or the voters are 15 years old.

Here, here.

Not being old enough to remember some of these guys isn't an excuse. Open a web page or read a fucking book. Then again, when you see some of these results, you have to wonder if the voters aren't so fucking stupid that they lack the ability to actually read if you opened the site or the book for them.

Mostly agree, but.... If we are going strictly by the numbers, then Joey Galloway wouldn't be running in second place in our current poll. Galloway is 9th in yardage (1,894 yards), 9th in receptions (108 catches), and 4th in touchdowns (19 TD's). In additon, Galloway played four seasons at Ohio State, while four of the players above him on the all-time yardage list (Boston, Carter, Holmes, and Ginn) played for only three years and left for the NFL a year early (all were first round draft selections). Had Gonzo played a fourth season at Ohio State, his career numbers (87 receptions, 1,286 yards, 13 TD's) would have probably equalled or exceeded Galloway's.

By way of example, Joey Galloway's career numbers (108 receptions for 1,894 yards) are almost identical to Ken-Yon Rambo's (106 receptions for 1,849 yards) and Jeff Graham's (99 receptions for 1,809 yards).

My top four are, in order, Carter, Boston, Jenkins, and Glenn, with Holmes edging out Galloway for fifth place.
