Who will win the 2007 Indy 500?

I can remember when the Indianapolis 500 really was "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing!", and I actually looked forward to watching it. Ever since the split between Tony George/IRL and CART/CHAMP, the Indianapolis 500 has never been the same and open wheel racing in this country has went "down hill". I don't think it a coincidence that (since the split) the popularity of open wheel racing has decreased and the popularity of NASCAR has increased. Good idea for a vbet, however.....do you really care who wins this year?

I feel that ABC's coverage has been lacking so far......

Too many commercials.....:(

They also missed many of the lead changes early in the race, while babbling about various things.

The rain is a bad break, it had been a good race to watch up to that point.

I thought they missed an opportunity at the beginning of the race....the commentators were rambling about nothing and the race was starting on the green flag. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Also, I didn't realize another female had entered the field because I didn't watch pole day (or an of the other practice sessions.) I think Danica has been unseated as the series fox.

Well, it looks like they"ll be able to restart this in a few minutes.

The track is just about dry and they're back in the cars, about to refire the engines.

meh i thought franchitti's wife was so-so but thats just me. marco's wreck was pretty intense though. nothing like sliding across pavement with your head less than a foot away from the ground. good to see him make it out alright. andretti demons linger on.
