Who will be the next Buckeye commit in '08?

nojoke2008

You're all witnesses to greatness
With Adams, Brewster, Buchanan, Posey, Shugarts, Stoneburner, Torrence, Williams, and now Sweat already in the bag who do you all think will be the next buckeye commit and who will be the toughest to get?

Gotta think one or two camp commitments could be possible. Do we see another LB get offered when Zordich chooses PSU soon? Beachum could be an option, and he'd have to think about committing early. D.J. Woods is blowing up. I hear he'd have a hard time not committing if offered at camp. McCarthy wants to end the process sooner than later.

Shaw would be a serious possibility if he gets an offer it seems. However, I think Goebel would be the most likely of the players we have offered. I expect a camp offer or two though and those lead to quick commits usually.

This is pure fun but here it goes...

Next 5 committs in order...

Mobley-we need him and there is no better offer than ours
Goebel-the Bucks again win out with Notre Dame

Then late will be Scott, Jenkins, and Fred Smith.

Then something happens and a scholly frees up in bball or football for Pryor to announce at the Army All American Game.

He has to wait till then to announce.

Is this possible?????

Pryor will have a scholarship regardless.

OSU is still an option for Floyd. It appears that ND remains his most likely landing spot, but he is interested in 5 different Big 10 schools, OSU included. He has talked about visiting OSU sometime this month, along with other schools. If I had to guess, I'd say OSU is in his top 5, based off his earlier comments - before he started to get tight lipped and "politically correct" in his responses - but it is just speculation on my part. And I don't think this is a done deal for anyone either.

I've seen a lot of lists about Will Hill, and virtually none of them include OSU. Most of the time, I see Florida and USC. After that, I see Michigan, ND, and Rutgers listed. I think I've maybe seen Hill and OSU in the same sentence once. Rivals doesn't even list OSU amongst his favorites, and their database is typically speedier/more reliable than scout's. He's a pretty tight lipped kid when it comes to his recruitment, so that is worth keeping in mind. I just wouldn't get my hopes up, if I were you.
