I think they will open it up in groups again, but I will go with Mangold, because that position is so thin, again. You want to have the most first teamers on the O-line, because there is a huge drop-off. Plus you have to have the center/QB snap right or you cannot do anything.

I will go with Underwood.
The strategy in the draft in past years has been to go with players that give you a wide disparity over the next choice. The advantage is not that big to take Schelgel and lose Hawk, or to take Sims and lose Mangold.
But since Fox as a senior will already be on a team Underwood becomes critical. Whover doesn't have Fox can't afford to let Underwood go and end up with Youboty and ??? Not with all the WR talent that is available.

i doubt that holmes returns too many punts or kickoffs in the spring game...at least i hope he doesnt....

I don't see Holmes returning any kicks this year. I bet Childress and Hall will be the main kickoff returners. Not sure who'll be returning punts...maybe Ginn?

I give up. This board is too hard to understand.
Maybe Troy Smith will return some kicks... it would give a chance to get on the field if he doesn't beat out Zwick. I beleive he was out there last year.

Why: I am one of the biggest JZ fans out there and know that he will be the starter, but whoever gets the first QB pick also gets the 3rd, so what is the point of having 2 pro-style QB's? If Smith is picked first they still get Boeckman 3rd and can use Smith at more than just QB. This is unless the players see Smith as behind Zwick and Boekman then he will drop to 3rd. Let the Troy Smith fans rejoice until the game is over and Zwick wins again.

ex...i was going to say that j.s. bach was going to be the first pick...but the qbs rotate from team to team during the spring game....good observation....
last year...krenzel and scotty mac only played a couple of series....i thought that would make bach the best pick........but they will rotate....

Everett is a safety. I know Duane seems to think Whitner is staying at safety. With his hitting ability and speed I like him back there and with both Underwoods, Youboty, Ginn, Lane and O'Neal on the way we seem pretty set at corner. We'll probably add another corner in this recruiting class as well.
