Our defense has really stepped it up against Purdue the past three years. I really look for that to continue. I think it's going to be them in 3rd and 16s. Now all we have to do is stop the 3rd and long. I hope they try to run the ball against us. I'm pretty sure it won't work at all.
I'll join the pie-in-the-sky hippies! Offense continues to jell. Buckeyes put 21 on the board in the 1st quarter and the defense shuts them down solidly. Ginn, Hall and Holmes score and the Bucks put their highest tally of the year on the board. First string is resting the 4th quarter.

It could happen like this.

Buckeyes defer - kick it off to Purdue. Their KR idiotically tries to take it out of the end-zone. Pinned at 10 yd line by Welch.

On first play from scrimmage the Purdue crowd wisely makes LOTS OF NOISE - Purdue's tight end flinches - 5yds.

From 1st and 15 from their 5-yd line, a fake to the draw play, spied by the LB corp. Pressure on Purdue's QB who fumbles the ball into the end-zone, recovered by A.J. Hawk for a TD.
