Anybody play golf?

For those that didn't know we (BuckeyePlanet) will have a golf outing on July 16th... anybody is welcome to come (you need to let us know by July 12th though)...

Anybody up for golf, beer, and meeting some of your fellow posters?

Post here if you are (or if you cannot make it, but would like to get involved in a golf outing next time we have one).

We currently have about 12 folks signed on... I'd like to get more people. You don't have to have your own foursome. We can match you with others. If you want to bring your own foursome that is fine...

I can't make it, although I will be in Columbus 6/30 -7/6, but I am interested in participating vicariously.

All I need is for someone to go to Walmart, buy a cheap wedge, poor a beer out on the first tee, then hit a ball into the nearest water hazard, break the club, and discus toss the pieces into the water while dropping as many F-bombs as possible.

It will just like I am there right beside y'all...just send me a bill.

I thought I might have to make a road trip for work, but I told my boss that the last time he sent me. "I went to catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team your wife"

And he said I did not have to go.

Planning a wedding sucks... trying to get out of most of this stuff but at the same time trying to free my calendar to make the 2 hour roadtrip from Cleveland. It doesn't help that the next 2 weekends (July 23rd & July 30th) I have other golf outings.

As for bringing 4somes I know it would just be me and with the expected amount of alcohol that will need to be consumed and maybe poker afterwards? I will also look for a place to crash. Any hotels near the golf course?

There are a couple bars, and an Amerihost Inn a couple miles down 23 in a shopping center. I am sure there are probably other hotels nearby, that's the only one I can think of. There are also some on the exit of Rt 71 and SR 36/37, Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, but that is probably a 10-15 minute drive from the course.

I'd love to play, but that date isn't good for me. I'm hoping this thing is a hit and we decide to have a 2nd Annual BP outing later in the summer.....errrr...I guess that wouldn't be "Annual"....Dammit.

Anyways, I would make the trip to C-Bus in the future. I hope this thing sticks.
