It was a toss-up between Kudla and Pitcock, and I gave Kudla the slight edge because he's a DE and not DT.

If he continues to play as well as he did towards the end of last year I think it will also be Kudla. I'd love to see one of the young guys(Barrow, Gholston, Wilson, Worthington, etc.) emerge.

I'd go with Pitcock. I think the DE's might get a lot of the double teams with the speed they'll have coming off the edge which will leave the DT's better opportunities to get in there. I'd love to see Gholston get in there and make a lot of noise.

Nice poll topic, Nutty.

I went with Richardson, because the leader's usually a DE, and Kudla has had trouble staying healthy. I'd sure like to see them both get double digits, though.

Couldn't help but notice Schlegel wasn't an option. A little odd considering he had more sacks than A.J. and Bobby combined (by a wopping .5 but still) and was second only to Kudla (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). It wouldn't have changed my pick but I just wanted to point out he should be a possible selection.

i voted for kudla, but the big disclaimer there is if he can stay healthy. he has had some bad luck with injuries the last few seasons.

he'll be 100% by camp. if he makesit through uninjured, then that's a good sign.
He was pretty tough at the end of the year when he finally got back to full form.

if jay richardson can put it all together, he will be a menace as well.

I'll go with Mike D'Andrea, for no particular reason beyond wishful thinking.

The D had good success blitzing LBs late last year and D'Animal has the size, quickness and temperment to become a great blitzer. I would imagine the coaches are working on a bunch of 4 LB packages, to get as many great tacklers on the field as possible. In passing situations, putting D'Andrea in to blitz could be a real nice addition to the arsenal.

Go out on a high note, Mike. It's not too late to earn that big NFL payday.

I'm going with Bobby C. I think the staff is really going to blitz the LBers this year and Bobby has shown the ability to get in the backfield. Plus, I think he'll line up at DE at times and come off the end. I think it's reasonable to project him at 7-8 sacks this year.

Hawk is the best LBer of the group, but Bobby is the best athlete, it's almost unfair somebody his size is as fast as he is.

I went out on a very thin limb and went with Worthington.... Reason I think this is because he reminds me so much of Mario Williams from Nc State thats its not even funny. with him being so tall and quick I see him being a specialist on 3rd downs soon or later.

you may be rigth Touchdownginn lets hope that butch can get worthington down to around a 4.6! Going on who did what last year I'd change my pick to carpenter, but I honestly think Worthington is a dark horse to make a move for that specialist spot!
