I've never even tried one.

BKB, I see you have an awesome pic of your kids in your public profile, do you ever think of them when you are smoking?

Like making sure you're around for them when they get older or setting a healthy example for them?

I was thinking about this a little more last night and realized back when I was dating I did not go out with girls if they smoked. There was this one drop-dead gorgeous girl who was interested in me (I think she was blind) and I tried to get past the smoking thing but I just could not. I could handle smelling like a cigarette after hanging out with her because it was no different than going to a bar, but the kissing was just too much.

I also don't smoke because my father died of a heart attack in his mid-40's and he was a smoker. I'm doing my best to live as long as possible and I am pretty sure not smoking will help me reach that goal.

Same here man. Nothing worse than kissing someone who tastes and smeels like an ashtray.

And even if they brushed their teeth you could still taste it.

I always thought smoking was a BIG turnoff!

Actually, when I'm at home, I go outside to smoke and I have kept my smoking hidden from my kids, although my daughter has her suspicions. My son is oblivious.

I have to vote yes, per Thump's instruction. I really don't consider myself much of a smoker anymore, though. I used to smoke fairly regularly (a pack every 3-4 days), but I mostly quit. I never really had a problem going weeks or even months without smoking. However, I do still enjoy a couple now and then when I'm out or on an occasional smoke break with a co-worker. So... yes.
