Who does the cooking at your house

iambrutus

Screw Blue
because of the schedule my wife works and because i really do enjoy it, i do most of the cooking at my house.

i love summer time because i can cook an entire meal on the grill and the kiddo can be outside playing.

last night i did steaks, shrimp and mushrooms on the grill, and even made grilled dessert too....

cut peaches in half and remove the seed, grill them cut side down for 1-2 minutes then flip and grill the skin side for 30-60 seconds, place them in a dish and top with a mixture of granola and brown sugar. put the dish on the grill for 10 minutes then enjoy - topped mine last night with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - it was great!

Even though I live bymyself, my girlfriend practically lives with me. She cooks most of the time just because of my work schedule, but I do cook every once in a while. I do enjoy her cooking very much so. I am not a big fan of cooking just because I am impatient when it comes to that

At my house we pretty much split it down the middle...she cooks inside, I cook outside. I cook 70% - 80% in the warmer weather, and she cooks 70% - 80% in the colder weather...although I do grill year round. Bananas Foster on the grill is delicious.

The fine employees of Taco Bell, Penn Station, and any pizza establishment within delivery area.

Edit: On occasion I make a damn fine spaghetti dinner, as well as tacos. (Thanks Ryn for the seasoning.)
And Shoegirl can make a tasty Chicken and Noodle.

Who does the cooking at our house?

That would be whoever is so hungry that they can't wait for the other to cook any longer. It's sort of like a staring contest, but whoevers' belly growls first loses and has to make a meal.

We split cooking duties about 50/50. I do all the grilling and also enjoy cooking inside. She has a tendency to be extremely hungry at like 5:30-6, which sometimes put a damper on more elaborate dinners during the week.

The above is almost word for word what I was about to type. Dinner during the week tends to be meals that we can sling together in about 30 min to an hour, on the weekends we do more elaborate meals.

about 50/50 here, the wife and I both like to cook.

Yeah, it mostly depends on who gets a good idea and whats to see it through. Cooking shows inspire weekend meals.
