Which OSU/UM players start in the rivals' system?

SSS

Junior
Which of these players definitely start on their rivals' team - in their system - and who do they replace?

A. UM off players in OSU offense

B. OSU off players in UM offense

C. UM defenders in OSU defense

Skipping OSU def for UM D (largely redundant w/ #3, and most of unit)

UM on OSU O

1. Roundtree over Washington
2. Lewan at OT, replaces Shugarts (could swap sides with Adams)

Webb starts over Fragel

OSU on UM O

1. Pryor over Denard
2. Boom over Hopkins
3. Hall over Smith
4. Sanzenbacher over Hemingway
5. Adams over Dorrestein

Posey, Browning, Stoneburner, Berry would push for minutes. Saine would play sparingly imo. Posey should start but not with his current inconsistency. I think Brewster is on similar footing with UM's OL, but a combined roster would be stacked on the interior. Same with Boren, who is also not a great fit for that system.

UM on OSU D

1. Martin over Simon

* - Mouton probably replaces Sweat, though that position is more of the 12th starter given the usage of the STAR position.

- I'd say Roundtree over Washington
- Possibly, possibly, Schilling over Browning, but that's more of a wash...

On defense:
- Martin over Simon or Larimore

ST's
- Harerup probably over Buchanan

I guess the best way to go about it would be to make a bastard child of the two teams by way of a depth chart.

First Team:
QB: Pryor
RB: Herron
FB: Boren
WR: Sanzenbacher
WR: Posey/Roundtree
LT: Lewan
LG: Boren
C: Molk/Brewster
RG: Schilling
RT: Adams
TE: Stonburner

DE: Heyward
DT: Martin
DT: Simon
DE: Williams

OLB: Homan
MLB: Rolle
OLB: Mouton (regretfully)

CB: Torrence
FS: If healthy, Barnett.
SS: Hines
CB: Chekwa
NB: Since Moeller is out...Christian Bryant.

P: Hagerup
K: Barclay
PR: Hall
KR: Berry, Hall

Most importantly:
Head Coach: TRESSEL

RG: Omameh
RT: Dorrenstein

DE: Roh
DT: Larimore
DT: Van Bergen
DE: Thomas

OLB: Sweat

If we're talking about right now, no way I take Lewan over Shugarts. I don't think I take Mouton over Sweat either...at best it's a wash IMO. Maybe if coached by our coaches, but Mouton is schizophrenic.

Watching UM's games, Lewan has been really good at run blocking which I think is something that the UM lineman have that could take our offense to the next level.

That's why I added the coach caveat at the end

I thought Sweat was one of the few bright spots against Wisconsin.

I did finish a bottle of tequila during the game, so I could have just been drunk.

He was good/great in pass coverage. He also made a key tackle on third down against Clay (solo tackle at that). He got pushed around a bit, but that's to be expected when he doesn't get that many reps with the 1's in practice.

I've always felt Mouton was a good athlete and strong as a boar, with some coaching he could be a pretty good Big Ten lineback.

Agreed though, Sweat/Mouton is pretty much a wash.

I don't know if that tradeoff is worth the penalties...I think the big strength of their runblocking is their guards, personally...
