Which NBA team will LeBron play for next?

50/50 odds for Cleveland? I'm more like 30% that he comes back right now.

The Vegas odds were at 60% (2:3), but there was a lot of juice in those odds - so I lowered it to 50%.

There's still some juice in the odds, but they'll stay fixed as the situation and rumors change over the next few days.

The bet is only open for about 1 week.

I hope Vegas knows what they are talking about.

I think Cavs fans have the wool over their eyes big time.

Lebron is gone guys, get used to it. He knows now that if he couldn't win a title this year, it's never going to happen in Cleveland. Just watch the way how he talks about the Cavs in the past tense and how "his team has a plan" and he "had a great time in Cleveland."

I'm not saying its guaranteed that he'll leave, but i'd bet money that he jumps to NY/NJ provided they can pair him up with another superstar or two, or Chicago if they can make the move.

I think the Bulls and Heat are the front runners currently. The Bulls seem like the perfect fit as of right now with a young talented group of players. The Heat seem promising as well though. If they can clear some salary cap room, they can resign Wade and go for LeBron. I've also heard they could also make an attempt for one of the big man FA as well if they cleared up enough room.

Another one to watch out for is NJ. They could draft a very talented PG in John Wall, then sign both LeBron and Bosh. I think Bosh/LeBron combo is his best choice for another star teammate. Bosh is big man that can play inside and outside which will spread the floor for LeBron and take alot of heat off of him. This will also give a huge inside-outside game for a LeBron led team...which he has never had before.

the nets can't sign 2 max deal guys.

on a related note, chris bosh has told the raptors he is signing elsewhere, and is willing to work with them on a sign and trade if it's to the right team.

this is interesting because toronto wants to rebuild, and wants to dump calderon's contract. toronto also loves jj hickson and was the only other team scouting eyenga and were set on taking him in the 2nd round. the cavs also have several expiring contracts. it could be an interesting angle.

Currently the Nets only have $26 million in salary for next season. They have alot of guys that are not signed for next season. Of that $26 million, alittle over $8 million is in Devin Harris, which i've heard the Nets would like to get rid of. If they can trade Harris, that would clear up a ton of room for both LeBron and another big name player like Bosh. Now with the Nets not getting the first pick overall, they will probably be trying to trade for that top pick.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

A lot of scenarios for a second max contract (or in the Knicks case, at least a third player who's not a total scrub to go with their second max deal) seem to hinge on those teams being able to dump bad contracts via trade. Sounds easy enough, but who in the hell is going to take on Eddy Curry, Devin Harris or whoever the Heat needs to dump? What NBA team is going to say, "Sure let me take one of your expensive chumps so you can build a team that's going to give it to my team up the ass for years to come"?
