I'm barely in the millenial generation ('82) but I relate a lot more to Generation X. The milennial generation is out of control and lacks discipline and focus.

Scary isn't it?and they will help mold our future.....
Just think, when we are old and trying to enjoy the end days of our lives.... people like TG05 will be running the country.

Generation X will be just fine, but the youngins of today are not taught discipline and respect like they once were. Responsability will follow suit.
Sadly, I find many freshman entering college far below myself five years ago in terms of responsability and discipline...
I don't think I'll ever be able to retire![]()
I don't know that I agree with this. If I recall the same thing was being said about Gen X in the early 90's...they have no ambition, they are lazy, they don't care about others...blah blah blah...it is said for almost ever generation since the greatest generation. baby boomers were hippys and druggies and so on. We will be fine, maybe it will take the avg. Gen Y kid a little longer to grow up but in the grand scheeme what is a year or three
-just realized that this may have come off much more harsh than i ment it to....i just think that kids in their 20s are just that, kids. its been that way since at least the baby boomers, we as a society just do not force our kids to grow up as fast anymore, doesn't mean they wont get there
What the hell makes the Greatest Generation so great? I don't trust them. Those old farts just rub me the wrong way. They fought off the Nazi's and didn't steal all there stuff? Give me a break. If I had been in charge of the big W W 2 we would have taken everything of value out of Germany and Japan after we won. I mean what is there to life besides your possessions? Heck I don't want to rely on them any way. All I care about is me and mine.
:p
Who says we didn't take everything. My guess is that the government held it all for several years until the aliens at Roswell forced Truman into giving it to them....damn Jupiterians
My kids are spolied beyond belief. I do not miss a chance to explain to them that I work to get money to pay for the things they have. When they complain about school I go into the I have 8 years of college story. They have skills, like using computers, that I did not have until college. I hope they can leverage those for a better future.
