Which BPers have tats? (merged with earlier thread)

Seems like taking it to a whole new level. Yikes.

Maybe. It just seems that everyone has ink these days...hell I see suburban moms (albeit trashy ones) sporting neck tats pretty often. I've just always tried to stay away from the things that everyone is doing.

C&P from the above thread...

Still haven't gotten around to getting the leg sleeved but have started thinking about getting branding/scarification done on my left forearm.

BTW the meat tag is actually a replacement....I had one when I was on active duty but had to have it removed when I worked for a civilian agency...went and had it re-done over the scars several years back.

Yeah, yeah... but how much do you have to pay for it?

 Pretty sure I was backing you up, but sure.

If one of my nephews came up to me & said he wanted to get hisr forearm sleeved I'd probably call him a dumbass....so yeah. lol

Ironically my views on the subject probably come off as a bit odd or potentially hypocritical...I've always been pretty big on not getting work done in visible areas due to the potential financial and/or social repercussions.

Having work done because it's important or symbolic to me has always been the priority and I've tended to look down on those who get ostentatious visible work done as a way to garner attention.

For which?

The existing tattoos (varied)
Having the one removed (nothing, FedGov picked up the tab)
Or for scarification (it's all over map)

I have my left shoulder half sleeved (unfinished, been a few years and a low budget) with cherry blossoms and the last stanza of a poem in script. Have a right forearm tattoo with broken infinity and "never forget"

Will probably get a calf or thigh tattoo of my study species.
