People who get it up front, where they click it on their teeth all the damn time, they just got it because it was "the cool kid thing to do."

I was not aware of that. I had my tongue pierced for about 5 years, it was back towards the middle of my tongue. I finally took it out because the Dr. I work for thought it wasn't professional, plus it just seemed to get in the way.

Well, they all have to be in the middle of the tongue for safety's sake but forward or back makes a difference in its use. Mine is also slightly farther back than normal and its there for a reason. :wink2:

I haven't had a problem with it in a professional capapcity, in fact its rarely seen by anyone I work with. I've forgotten a couple times and a year or so into a job I have stuck my tongue out at someone, and that's how they found out. It never gets in my way, it never made me talk funny and it doesn't click on my teeth at all. Sometimes a noodle will get stuck around it! :biggrin:

If a dude needs something added to his tounge, then he probably doesn't know "how to use it" in the first place. :wink2:

No piercing in this mouth and my wife is quite satisfied...at least that's what she tells me... :paranoid:
