I'd say Monday is a good guess after today's during and post game performance. I guess he admitted in the press conference he does not know how to motivate his players anymore and he slapped himself.

Didn't Bobby Williams make almost the identical comment on his way out the door?

And wasn't JL hired as the highest paid Big Ten Coach at the time?

Shouldn't MSU be looking at changes at a higher level?

Yes to all, except MSU will always be a BB school.

I disagree. Saying MSU is a basketball school is as misguided as saying Ohio State is a football school.

There is no reason that MSU can't be successful in both. They were a national power in football for decades, before it all crashed in the late 60s when Woody and Bo took over the conference. Nick Saban appeared to be rebuilding the program, even getting the 10 win season in '99, before he bolted for LSU.

MSU has the resources and the facilities. They just can't find (or keep) the right coach.
