I picked Holmes over Hawk, because 1) The wr position has less responsibilities to be taken care of by a rookie in the pros. He'll probably be used as a 3rd wr in the slot or returning kicks, just to get the ball rolling. (meaning there is less of a chance of the other team scoring because of a rookie mental mistake). 2) It's my understanding that Holmes already has a family to support and this would lesson the risk of injury participating at the college level and provide instant financial relief. 3) The media always seems to be enamored by the BIG play offensive guys (Holmes) and not always the get the job done right guys (Hawk). 4)I believe Hawk has a better chance to win a national award as a senior than Holmes, simply because OSU's linebackers & defensive players get more recognition than their wide receivers.

I think Hawk goes just simply because of the national attention and Kiper salivating over him.
I don't think Holmes goes because I don't think he will have a great enough year and doesn't have the "measurable" to be a top round pick.

the most logical would be D'Andrea or Schlegel... because neither wants to continue sharing into their senior year... but by the same token, this will keep both from entering the draft... since they won't be projected early enuf to make it worth their while...

Hmmm- Hawk isn't even the best Pro Prospect LB we have.
Holmes is the only one who should even think about it... I see him as a late 1st rounder/early second in the Dennis Northcutt/ Peter Warrick (Who should have been down there too).
The thing the LB's and Sallye have going against them is simply the fact that they are LB's and Safeties.... D-Ends, WR's, DT's, and RB's are just more valuable on Draft day as underclassmen... There are enough LB's and Safeties around to not spend a big pick on them.
