Which '08 recruit makes the biggest impact this season?

I would have went with Mike Adams before his injury. Now I say Terrelle Pryor...I think he will have some nice runs. Runner up would be DeVier Posey. Also, which recruit do you want to see succeed the most? For me it would have to be Micheal Brewster, as he has already put so much into gathering great players for us.

I think Pryor will. If he's on the field, even if he doesn't touch the ball, he's going to change the defense completely. Yes, it's a cliche answer, but I think it's a toss up between he and the next guy I'll mention.

I think Stoneburner has the potential to create some HUGE mismatches. If he comes out as our #3 receiver, he would potentially be matched up against #3 CBs, safeties, and LBs.

With the injuries on OL thus far, I am going to go with Shugarts. Barton is gone, early reports have him off to a good start, and his fellow incoming freshmen are dinged up. I think Pryor could also be big, but experience tells me that it is much more difficult to predict the level of success of young QBs, even from one so talented.

We are so deep on D for this coming year, I'm thinking a ton of our guys in the '08 class are gonna redshirt (which is awesome, btw). WR is somewhere where we have room for someone to step up, so I'm gonna say that the biggest impact player will be either Posey or Stoneburner.

As for the guy you want to see succeed the most, it's pretty much a tie between Michael Brewster for all that he has done for this program (getting all these guys to come here and make something special happen) and Jermil Martin because we REALLY need him to contribute this year at FB and he's gonna get some PT.

I hope Pryor does as well as the hype. I know he's a great athlete and I'm glad he took the offer from OSU, however, there's been so much media attention on him that I hope he can live up to it. I'm looking forward to next season!

I'm still not convinced Pryor sees the field enough to be an impact player this season. The only positions on the team that are open even a crack for PT are WR, OL and DL.

IMO it is either Stoney or Shugarts. Adams if he is ready to go in the fall.

Wells would be a good call - except he is lined up behind Wilson, Rose, Heyward and Gibson. That's some talent. Goebel maybe as a wild card - although playing at DT as a Frosh is a long way from having an impact.
