Any superstitions about taking a souvenir from Machu Picchu home? In Hawaii, it's bad luck to take a piece of white coral out of the state. Same with Marble CO, taking a bit of coral will cause bad luck. (this is where the marble for Washington monument was mined). Not usually superstitious, but why take a chance?

A purchased one or just picking up a small rock or something? I don't know about bad luck, but I'd say that the latter would be an asinine thing to do.

All vacations for next year are now booked. I was talking to a buddy who couldn't believe it as they wait until the last minute to schedule vacations. I like scheduling them early as it gives me something to look forward to. He forgot to mention there are many years his family never goes on vacation and he likes to brag about all the unused PTO he leaves on the book the end of each year.
