Did not think you guys would react like this. I'm asking questions, not stating them. All I hear from sports fans around the nation and sports writers were negative things about a program that is an annual BCS contender, so I wanted to know if there were any particular reasons for this, or if there is some reason why everyone sings the praises of the PAC-10 up and down when they had a mediocre season (and the SEC, but they did well...) and just bash the Big Ten when they did fairly well in the bowl games this year.

Don't mind the natives. It is all in good fun. Definitely need a thick skin on this forum, as in life.

To address your question: There are those in Ohio who would like to get out of the state and play elsewhere, just like there are guys in Florida who choose Ohio State over Florida, FSU, scUM south. Ohio State will always draw a lot of the good in state players, but some just get sick of being force fed Buckeye fanship and rebel of sorts.

As for the fans of other programs, well, jealousy is a bitch.

As for the sports media and talking heads, fuck 'em, let them talk til they turn blue. Their words mean literally nothing to recruits.
