I just moved out here on the 17th and I've already found out that driving here sucks! The people on the roads here are idiots to be kind. If you don't have to drive very far, dont. If I were you I would keep the E. Northern reservation as it is closer to the stadium for tailgating. The Scottsdale area is where most of the nightlife will be and you've got a pretty equal distance from either reservation there. Glendale is on the North side of town and Ahwatukee is on the Southwest side. I live on the SouthEast side and pretty much have to take the 202 or 101 loops to get to the city with any quickness. The city is built on a perfectly square grid with each major intersection almost 1 mile exactly. Get a cab or carpool downtown if possible. Beware the DUI!!!! If you get a DUI here the sheriff puts you in his little "tent jail" and makes you where pink underwear for everyone to see, I shit you not! All that being said, theres a helluva lot of fun to be had down here. Be safe and Go Bucks!!!

Thoughts anyone from the Phoenix are on which reservation I should keep?
I'll have to disagree with one of the subsequent posters on this one, as I've lived in Phoenix for quite a few years. Yes, traffic has gotten terrible as the growth has been explosive. The Grace Inn in Ahwatukee is located on Tempe's westernmost border. Ahwatukee isn't a town; just a village split between Phoenix and Tempe. The Grace is also located right on I-10 which will take you right to the stadium (essentially) without having to search for roads and access to the freeways. The drive should take you less than an hour even in heavy traffic. Take I-10 West to Loop 202 North (between 91st and 99th avenues), then take Loop 202 North to Glendale Avenue (I'm guessing about eight miles) and you're right at the stadium. Very simple. To get to the party areas on Mill Avenue in Tempe, just take Elliot Road (the street the Grace is on) east to Rural Road, then turn left going north. It will take you to ASU. Turn from Rural left onto Apache Blvd. Apache morphs into Mill and you're in party city! If you stay up on E. Northern, you're not close to Tempe or the stadium, nor a party area, nor a freeway. You'd have to go east to SR 51 north (Piestewa Freeway), exit onto Loop 101 west, then go many, many miles to Loop 202 south with another ten miles or so to Glendale Avenue. A hassle with no area attractions.
