When is it OK for a grown man to cry?

every time TBDBITL enters the stadium

I must admit tears come to my eyes when it happens, mostly in big games because I've been waiting for it for so long. I dont know why, it happens more often when I watch clips of highlights.

I didnt cry when tOSU won the NC in 02, but when I watch the DVD tears come to me eyes. It must be the memories.

And oh yeah, I broke an ankle 3 years ago, as much I tried not to, a few tears found their way out.

Moments in my Ohio State history where tears have come to my eyes.

In 1996 taking in the atmosphere before my first scUM home game.

In 1998 being on the field after 31-16

And a few In 2002
-when I was at the Purdue game...Krenzel to Jenkins...I never have hugged so many people in my life.

Also being at The Game when Will Allen made the game winning interception. Standing there with my father...we both had tears in our eyes. I was in disbelief at what I had just saw.

And during the NC tears came to my eyes when I thought we lost. My mother was watching the game in the kitchen, because she couldn't stand being in the family room with dad and I because we go completely nuts. My dad and I were both on our feet during the whole overtime, both pacing a lot. When that 4th down pass fell incomplete my dad left the room in disbelief and I dropped to my knees and fell to the floor. I wasn't even paying attention to what was going on at that point after the pass dropped on the TV. My mom then screams, "It's not over." My mom knows nothing about football...so I thought nothing of it...until my dad comes running in the room faster than I've ever seen my dad run screaming, "There's a flag!!!!! There's a flag!!!!!" I looked at the TV and a few seconds later they signaled pass interference, and I swear I about killed my dad by hugging him so hard while jumping up and down. And when we won...I didn't cry...I ran around the whole house screaming and jumping, and my dog started barking at me and my dad for going crazy. When I watch the game on tape though, tears do come to my eyes when we win.

Sorry that was so long...but for me, it's a really nice memory. I want to watch the NC game now.

I can get emotional pretty easy over stuff related to OSU. I love Ohio State, and am very proud to be a part (alum) of the history and tradition of the Buckeyes.
I get choked up when I'm in the 'Shoe and the team and crowd all sing "Carmen, Ohio" after a big win.
I got choked up at the National Championship game.
I cried a bit when my son was born.
Sometimes I get choked up thinking about taking him to his first Buckeye game in 5 years or so.
And definately when your dog dies.
