What's wrong with IAB's Car...

sways side to side as you are slowing down

Yeah, I think struts, tie rod ends or something of the like. Sounds like something is messing up the geometry of the front suspension. Hit any curbs lately?!

I don't know what you mean by a drumming when speeding up/slowing down. But it sounds like bad wheel bearings to me. Axels don't kinda fail, they just go in a big way, so I doubt its that.

Really need to hear or feel where this described drumming is coming from to get a better idea.

Sounds like the nerfing bars are shot causing the urgometer to overheat and send a false positive to the parambulator. Have you rotated the hubcaps and cleaned the mudflaps?

And don't forget to properly inflate the engine mounts to 35 lbs psi. That alone could stop the airbags from premature ejaculation.

did you put winter air in the tires?? If you leave the summer air in the tires when it gets below 40 degrees it will throw the whole car off.

If the bearings are bad, they will make a grinding sound when you accelerate. As you slow down, the noise should slow down and stop. I've had a bad bearing and it didn't sway at all upon braking.Driving too long on bad bearings can eventually damage your axle.

When you hit the brakes is it the same sound? If your brakes are shot,
the pin will scrape all the time, and get worse when you depress the brake.

Maybe it is the struts.
