What's in your CD player right now?

Right now I'm listening to an old David Allan Coe disc. I also have Phish's A Live One and Blind Melon on deck.

Question for the other Phishermen out there: Do you only listen to them at night? I can't really get into them during the day.

I have a good friend who can fix anything. He buys blown amps and decks cheap, fixes them and makes a killing selling them. If you find the right person they should be able to fix your CD player for you. How old is the CD player?

The CD player is 3 years old I think, 4 at the most.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Wolf-if it's just the eject button, it shouldn't be too hard to fix. That's a little easier to fix than a laser. The problem is, most places won't look at it unless you bought it there. Who makes it, and what model #? I'll see what I can do.

When I first bought the Audioslave CD I wasn't enamored with it but I have to say that top to bottom that's a great CD that definitely has grown on me. Nice choice!

Wolf, I only asked how old it was to see if it was worth putting money into it/trying to find someone to fix it. I agree with Crump's brother, if you can find the right person it should be no problem. The volume buttons on one of my decks broke once and a friend was able to switch the button from another stereo he had lying around. If it's a nice CD player it would be worth fixing.

Wolf, Some car cd players have a little hole near the the eject button were you can use a pin or something to forceably eject the CD.

Wolf- before I bought my new truck with a good factory system, I used to really be into car audio. We'll get you taken care of. If not, maybe one of your Grassy buddies can help...

As far as Crump goes, he (and Crump's brother) are characters from the 90's movie The Stoned Age. I highly suggest you rent it.

Crump's, I like Phish in the car, day or night, but don't usually have it on at home.

Dayton, good to know Used Kids is still there. Hopefully, I get up there for a game early in the fall and haul off a box of cds.

I like the Audioslave disc, it's one of the recent releases that is actually something different. But, I'm getting sick of hearing it every single time I turn on the radio.

I really wish that Soundgarden (Badmotorfinger era) was still around.
