What you like most and least about where you live...

Most - Truly the greatest city in the world. Unrivaled access to you name it - theater, museaums, shopping, restaurants, finance, culture, sports, etc, etc. Close to my family. Also, some of the highest paying jobs here.

Least - TAXES. Traffic. Prices of everything. Also, very often feels like I am the only conservative for a 100 mile radius.

Mixed - The diversity here. Melting pot gives you exposure to many different cultures, but is a double edged sword - so much diversity makes it difficult for the city to establish a true identity and can lead to tension.

Most--within walking (and listening) distance of the 'Shoe, very close to work at OSU, friendly tree-lined subdivision, UA/Grandview-type neighborhood without the taxes.

Least--nosy neighbors, dogs barking all night long, no sidewalks (I'm stretching for complaints here :))

Shittsburgh

Like most: Affordable housing, PNC Park

Like least: Stupid populace who think the world revolves around the Stillers and who thinks General Tsos is culture and that wearing hats and T-shirts in nice restaurants is acceptable; lack of decent ethnic restaurants/bars; lack of clear days

That Pittsburgh traffic always sucked. Is it better now?

Columbus

Likes: tOSU; capital of the best state in the U.S. IMO; the weather; rural areas nearby; new industry; good radio

Dislikes: no one uses a turn signal; can't find arctic shatter powerade; somewhat liberal city

Columbus ... liberal? Bah.. maybe you're in a different columbus. Hell, as a college town, this place should be much more liberal.

Anyway, if C-bus is slightly too liberal for your liking stay the hell away from New York and don't get any closer than you already are to Boston.

Likes: Buckeye Fever!!! Traffic is not bad. Airport is only two traffic lights away. Lots of golf courses. Plenty of cigar shops. Close to family. I've always lived in C-bus so I know how to get everywhere.
Dislikes: Road construction everywhere. It's two hours to a Reds game. Have to watch the Browns on alternate Sundays. These are minor gripes because I love living here.

So I take it you weren't at Columbus's biggest annual social gathering this weekend? A weekend at ComFest, alongside the Gay Pride celebration of the nation's 3rd-largest gay community, shows a fairly liberal side of our city.:)
