Purdue???

That seems to be coming WAAAAAAAYYYYYY out of left field....Purdue stinks!

The only 4 games OSU has a legit shot to lose are PSU, Wisc, Wash., scUM
and I see them winning 1 or 2 of those 4 for sure so either 11-2 or 10-3 will be our 2007 record

:shake: I love how you did some research and saw what they have coming back.

I think we're gonna come out of the gate 8-0, but then we go to Happy Valley and we have Wisconsin coming in, which are gonna be some tough games. Being realistic, we'll probably win a lot of games, and lose a couple close ones (one probably being a game we have no business losing), 11-2...with a win over Michigan.

Umm...Washington stinks! UW was picked 9th at the Pac-10 media day. After losing their best player to injury (QB Isiah Stanbeck), they went something like 1-5 while giving the only win that Stanford had the whole year...the score? 20-3 Cardinal. They now have a redshirt fr. taking over and only 1 wr w/ any real game experience back. Washington's defense returns 6 starters on a unit that was 95th overall in yardage.

Purdue on the other hand, is a road night game in the B10...never easy. We are 1-2 in our last 3 trips to West Lafayette with the only win being a 10-6 victory over a horrible PU team. HOLY BUCKEYE!!! (I had to throw that in). They return 18 starters. 9 on offense. 9 on defense. Yeah, PU's defense was terrible last year, and I expect for us to put up some serious points. However, they have a (near) 4,000 yard passer back with his top 3 wr returning as well. Strange things can happen on the road in the B10.

Hardly out of left field, imo.

Washington doesn't stink!
They're playing at home.
It's early in the season.
We have lost the last 2 times we played there.
We have to travel all the way out there.
Pac 10 officials?
Tressel will call a conservative game plan playing into their hands defensively.
Aaaagitaah!

I voted for "I dont care-Just Beat TTUN", but that isnt entirely true. Realistically, I have BCS expectations for 2007. Bucks go 10-2 and find their way into a BCS game:oh:

What BCS bowl will want a team that plays I-AA teams? :roll1:

B_D, you just played right into Mili's hand. 10-2 looks better than 9-2, eh?

LOL... I already put that pest on ignore. I refuse to spend time getting into pissing matches with annoying children on the internet.

Why? Tired of getting your Rainman ass handed to you? Let's summarize your posting vocabulary:

"We're too good to be playing I-AA teams".

"Anyone who disagrees with me is a child".

"Yeah..."

Purdue scares the crap out of me. As it's been mentioned they return 9 on both sides. Here is a little history lesson:

2002: 10-6 (W) ***Holy Buckeye***
2003: 16-13 (W) ***Overtime***
2004: 17-24 (L) ***Troy's first loss***

Given THAT history and what they have returning (throw in it's an away game) and you have the makings of a VERY tough game.
