Cars are such a big part of our lives.
What was your first ride?
My first ride was a $300 1962 Ford Falcon four-door. 3 speed on the column.
First gear was unsynchronized, so you had to be at a complete stop to put it in first. And because a "friend" had sold it to me, it came with the rear end jacked up with springs off a rail car!
Rear doors didn't work"because when you get a girl back there, it makes it harder for her to get out!" Never worked for me!:tongue2:
Car had frequent carb fires so I invested in a extinguisher!
Good first car to learn on . I backed into a wall, once.
Parents came home from a vacation and found this hunk of automotive junk in their front yard.
