Good Afternoon Buckeye fans!!!
My wife and I are traveling out this weekend for the tOSU vs Minnesota game. We are traveling in on Friday, so we have ALL DAY on Saturday. With the game being a 8pm start, what should we do? Where should we go? We've already talked about checking the University out, in general... The Schott, Buckeye Grove, Mirror lake, Conrads, etc... But what about the Tailgating scene if we are not driving to the game? Are there any inclusive style large tailgates? Should we check out a few different bars... Any ides are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, GO BUCKS!

You should walk through the student union and the main library on your campus tour. If you have time, the top floor of the main library is basically an observation deck with a great view of campus.

Any bar or restaurant near campus on high street or lane will be hopping on game day.

Eddie George's Grille 27 might be a place in particular to check out.

There's also a big outdoor party called ozone on lane avenue that's a decent place to kill time, eat and drink if you've got no where else to go before a game. The clientele can be a bit white trashy, though.

If you will be on campus Saturday morning, check out the great brunch at Sloopy's in the Ohio Union.

There are large tailgate parties north of campus on Lane Avenue in front of Riverwatch Towers condos and adjacent and behind the Varsity Club which is also on Lane Avenue.

If you are into the marching band, check out the Skull Session...I think they still have it at St. Johns Arena about 2 hours before kickoff.
