If there is a tied record and no one game playoff, we'll use whatever the MLB tiebreaker would be.

Don't have time to research this, but, IIRC there is no playoff when the other team would be the wildcard.

I don't know, but somebody that put v$10 million on them is very relieved that he also placed 3 mill on the Bankes, so the net effect of Boston blowng the division would only be a loss of 1 million. But I'd still prefer the net profit of 17 million if they can hang on!
