Well, since you're young, and still unmarried, you can go see the world, Baltimore in this case, if you're so inclined. Some people can't wait to leave the area, some love it here.

I'm sure if you went there, you could eventually get another job back in the area, if you so choose. If you're looking to use this job as a career, then you'll have to take long term needs into account as far as where you ultimately want to live your life and raise your children.

Either way you'll have a great job.

I have to vote for the move. Keep in mind that no decision you make will be permanent, and you are likely change jobs several times over the course of your career anyway, so I wouldn't worry so much about job security. Why not take the opportunity for a more exciting job and a new location now while you are young and unattached?
