I have to tell you, being a football coach doesn't sound that fun to me.

I see why so many f'ball coaches end up divorced, you're never freaking home!!

Just have to make sure you find the right kind of woman...she has to understand and support the hours...being a fan helps and being independent really helps.

I have to have the competition...without it, I'd be lost.

I work flex hours, since I'm taking classes. Usually 9-6 on weekdays except Wednesday. My boss doesn't care when I work, just as long as the work gets done.

7:30A to 4:00P M-F

I can come in a bit early or stay a bit late if I want, he doesn't care. I can take time off whenever I want, but he prefers at least a week notice. However, I only get my VAC pay once a year, so I have to be willing to "take the hit" on my paycheck for that week if I take time off.

my Dad coached for years before he got into school administration... my Mom still talks about how he was never home in those days. He coached HS baseball, football and wrestling.

my day is pretty much the same all week... 4am - 1pm. If I'm lucky I get Saturdays 4p - 12a but that's not that often these days.

Mondays I go in around 1230am and stay until 930-10am. Tuesday-Friday I get in around 3am and usually leave around 11am, depending on how the day is going.
