Obviously Holy Buckeye is up there. What other plays have been as meaningful and as exciting as tonight’s play by Jack Sawyer?

The long ones like that and Jack’s are fun because there’s time to process what was happening and celebrate it all the way to the end zone. All while losing your mind that it’s really happening.

A prolonged joy that is unmatched in sports.

Solid choice. The Buckeyes had the lead in a National semi-final game, and a play of 80-some yards gave the Buckeyes a 14-point lead with 3:24 left. Very similar to tonight.

I still have never heard the Shoe as loud as it was on that play by Gamble. The place was absolutely rocking that entire game.

In 1975, tOSU was undefeated and ranked #1 going into The Game. The Buckeyes had a long drive to tie The Game 14-14 with 3:18 left. ttun tried to move the ball and Ray Griffin (Archie’s brother) picked off a pass and returned it a good distance to set up a first and goal. Pete Johnson pounded in The Game winner about 1 minute later.

I remember enjoying the hell out of that.
