While we're cheering for UNC I'm seeing what Iowa's defense is doing to Sparty - in short, what we did NOT do - and accepting the fact that our team just didn't get it done this year. We'd be VERY fortunate to make the CFP, and I'm not sure we'd deserve it. That doesn't mean we couldn't possibly win if we got there, but we have no one to blame but ourselves for missing out this year.

That's the rub, any number of teams in the top 10 could win two games vs any other two teams. It just so happens only 4 won the games to give them that opportunity.

Well it's hard for a defense to stop anyone when your offense can't generate any first downs. Sure Iowa isn't scoring but I'd be willing to bet they've gotten more than five fucking first downs.
