What makes someone an expert

Honestly.. I know some people have inside info, but what makes someone think they can respond to questions. What makes them an expert. There is one site that makes me mad (not this one). But one of their so called "experts" says the dumbest shit and people listen. And then when he is wrong he doesnt even admit it, and he tries to side step it. I think anyone can say "this kid is a great football player" if he leads his league in every offensive or defensive catagory....thats common sense. Maybe an expert should be able to pick out which recruit, who isnt mentioned in every magazine, will be the next AJ Hawk. (3 star recruit if I am not mistaken)

That makes me think... Hey Buckeyeplanet.... maybe you can start a poll on which non 5-4 star recruiit you want the Buckeyes to get.

I step back and look at things, and wonder... can anyone just start up an "insider" :wink2: site?

I better add something to this post about football so it cant be moved...... hmmm....

Is Ohio State the only team in Ohio that still plays with a Wilson ball?

Well, in the case of Duane Long you have to be 300 + lb. slob who looks like he never played a lick of sports in his life and probably lives in his parents basement.

All it takes to be considered an expert is to call yourself an expert.

And no, Alan/DiHard doesn't count.

first and foremost you need a high majority of posts on a popular message board. If the field is football, you need to be able to score 80 points on either NCAA 2006 or Madden 2006. The same goes for any other sport. I don't know how experts are decided for things like auto repair or interior design.

As for the footballs, do we really still use Wilson? I would have guessed it was Nike...

Are you saying only 1 percent of our conversations are good? That may be generous in the open forum.
