What kind of lunchbox did you have growing up?

    • I had the metal lunchboxes with the thermoses.

    That is exactly what it looked like too. All beat up with all of the NFL team helmets around the outside.
     
    When I was in elementary school it seemed like I had some super hero every year. The lunch boxes never seemed to last more than a year.

    Junior high I bought lunch.

    Once I got to high school I was with 27, it was brown bag. But it was a grocery bag not a lunch bag. I remember eating 4 sandwiches, fruit, chips, some kind of snack cake, drinking 4-6 cartons of milk and eating some type of ice cream every day.

    Milk was $.05 a carton and ice cream was $.10. You could eat well for $.50!

    I was a skinny kid with turbo metabolism. Those were the days.:)

    I know I had some lunchboxes early in grade school, but I cannot remember what they were. I switched over to the brown bag at an early age.

    Northshorebuck - Maybe you should have just gone with a wheelbarrow!
