A Yahoo! Slurp Spider?
They're squirmy little critters that crawl automatically all over the site to see see what is going on. When people run web searches, things are indexed and more likely to show in search engines.

That isn't very technical, but it's close enough. :p

What is................
A valve lapping stick? :tongue2:

A small stick with a suction cup on one end. It's used to attach to the top of the valve. You do this to seat the valve in it's seat, with the help of some abrasive compound. As you twirl the valve the compound removes metal until the valve seals perfectly in the seat. If it doesn't, you loose compression in the combustion chamber. Same process is used to sharpen the blades on a reel-type mower, again mating the blade surface to the bed knife.....

No, no, they aren't really bugs or spiders of any sort. They actually look like this:

They just made up the Slurp Spidey thing in honor of one of his colleagues.
Deety, Why did you do that to your dog? Don't you see how sad he looks. I can tell that he doesn't like being in the batman outfit. From the glazed llook in his eyes I think he is going into shock.
Everyone knows Batman is a great dane.
