What is your favorite memory of the Bengals Dark Years?

I guess mine might be Gus Frerotten and his left handed pass. That was just awful. I was really hoping they would go 0-16 in 2002 so that people decades later would remember how awful they were. Thankfully 2-14 was \"good\" enough for Mike Brown to realize he needed to change things.

I think mine was listening to Dave Lapham describe the Tampa Bay coaches howling with laughter in the press box during the 2002 matchup with the Bengals. You could actually hear them laughing during the broadcast and afterwards told Lapham that they barely had to do anything b/c the Bengals couldn't disguise any of their play calls.

A close tie would be Va-gina...er, I mean Ki-jana Carter being carted off the field for an injury to his wrist. Eh, what else would you expect frm a guy who decided to safely slide on a kickoff return?

It's hard to top the left-handed pass attempt, but what about the debacle against Cleveland in the first game at PBS? I can still picture Akili Smith running from Keith MacKenzie all day long and getting beat by a mediocre Browns team 24-7. Considering how much money was spent on Akili and Peter Warrick and PBS and all the expectations, it seems like the darkest day in team history to me.

I know.

I wish someone had a pic of their fans throwing bottles on the field after the Jags game.

you can google it and find all sorts of pictures. I have had trouble posting pictures here previously but I will try again

The "Shuffle"....By the way Hines Ward doesn't even compare to Woods and never will....Maybe Mike Doss will knock that retarted smile off his face this week.....I wonder if he's gay since he's always smiling...I think he may enjoy the physical contact with other males a little too much...
