What is your favorite bait?

With all due respect to the baitcasters among us, dangling a worm or piece of food in front of a fish isn't much of a sport, imo.

Now, trying to convince a finicky trout that one of these is a real insect, now THAT is a sport. :p

Skip jack or Junkers work pretty well but I'm not much of a fisherman. Last time we went out my buddies caught a few large blue and a couple of shovel head. All I caught was a buzz....OK I got smashed....
