What is the craziest thing you have ever seen while driving down the highway?

craziest thing i've ever seen was when i was 16, coming home from a date on sawmill rd here in columbus.. im at sawmill & 161 in a 95 ford contour, total piece of shit cost me 500 bones but hey it was wheels and it was in my name so it worked. a porsche 911 turbo and from what i could tell a newer model corvette, dunno what model but looked like every other one you would see. the porsche revs it engine and im like sweet this will be cool to watch. like a jackass and joking around i rev the contours engine (0-60 in 19.2 seconds btw haha) and the porsche revs again, no response from the vette. all the sudden the vette drops down to the ground, front driver side first and one by one each corner on the vette lowers and he bones through the red light leaving the porsche sitting still.. thought it was pretty cool

well last year i was heading to columbus on US30 to lima and an early 90s ford aerostar passed me and the entire back up it was smoking and in a ball of flames and swerving all over hell. it came completely out of nowhere too. bastard swerved off onto a country road and kept on driving like a bat out of hell. i was like "what the fuck!?".

another story would be way back in the day. i was riding with some friend around delphos and a guy in a buick grand national(sweet cars) came to a non perpendicular intersection and cut through a cemetery creaming tombstones in his wake while he was running from a trooper. he was moving to. he hit the one tombstone going about 40 or so and kept on going straight and took off. the cop which was behind but not out of sight of the GNX turned and went the completely opposite way.

Worst was an accident I witnessed at the Wisconsin Dells. Car came flying down a hill toward an intersection and made no attempt to stop or slow down despite the red light and the stopped traffic. He slammed right into the rear end of a stopped car and both vehicles burst into flames immediately. We didn't stick around to see what happened, but read in the paper the next day that the people in both vehicles were dead before emergency response got there.

Funniest was when I was on a road trip driving at night between Casper and Cheyenne Wyoming when we hit a really bad storm with high winds. Visibility was horrible, when out of nowhere a freaking tumbleweed blew onto the car's windshild and was stuck for a coupld of seconds. Nothing spectacular, but it scared the crap out of us.

I was driving along Riverside Drive (257) at 50-60 mph, when a car attempts to turn left onto Summit View. Problem is, the driver - some old lady - gets cold feet about the turn AND STOPS mid turn so she is horizontal in the opposite left lane - where I was driving. I swerve right to miss her which causes my car (actually, my mom's car) to go into a flat spin into the oncoming traffic. The car ended up being smashed in on all four sides, but amazingly, I was so unhurt that I jumped out of the car to start yelling at the woman, who had pulled her car over to the side of the road. So while screaming obscenities at this old lady, all of the drivers - and this was morning rush hour - are staring at me in complete shock and disbelief. Not sure if this counts as something I've seen, but, whatever.

guess you had to be there.. sitting in traffic because some dumbass girl can't drive and shes up at the front of a huge pile-up crying  the double thumbs up was more than deserved and thought it was a solid gesture, showed her our sign of approval of being a fuck-up at life.

yeah, i'm sure the accident was a complete reflection of her life. i think giving her the thumbs up was more of a reflection about you and your friend's lives than it was about hers. :roll1:
