`Great vision. He's got an awareness and a vision of what's going on out there unlike any guy I've ever been around.''
There were times when he was a freshman I thought he was really disappointing.

Ashland, Underwood looked extemely good his frosh year...for a frosh. He showed excellent cover skills, what he needed to work on was his understanding of the defensive schemes, and his vision. EJ's biggest problem, and it was oh-so-obvious, was his inability, or his refusal, to turn his head and look back for the ball. This is a classic mistake made by young DB's, and it usually is a result of a lack of confidence. Now that he has had a year and a half under his belt, and a full spring, summer, and autumn workout session as the number 1 CB, Underwood will amaze you.ashlandbuck said:Carmen
I know a lot of people are high on Underwood but to be honest, I have never seen anything to get that excited about.
Maybe some one can enlighten me as to why this guy is perceived as such a good DB. There were times when he was a freshman I thought he was really disappointing.
I think Youboty has much more upside. Again, I know the spring game may not be a great indicator of things to come but I thought Youboty was outstanding.
Unless OSU switches to the Single Wing, QB is the most important position. If for no other reason than he triggers every play and directs the offense on the field. The QB distributes the ball as appropriate and is primarily responsible for not ending possessions prematurely (without a kick).ashlandbuck said:In a JT scheme?
Heck, it may not even be the 4th most important position in our offense.
