What is the best Chinese food around Columbus?

I personally have found that the individually owned mom and pops Chinese restaurants are the best

Dragon Land in Worthington fits the bill. It is literally just a husband and wife that run the place. They went on vacation a few weeks ago and it closed- so it is just them.

I called for take out when their message said they were supposed to get back but no one answered the phone. I assumed they weren't back yet or something. The wife called back an hour or so later to let us know that they were having phone problems.

Like a lot of Chinese take-out places, though, I don't know if the decor and ambiance is "take your wife out for dinner" appropriate.

Chi Thai in New Albany is some of the best I've found around. It's a bit more up-scale than your typical small Chinese restaurant, but it isn't as up-scale as PF Chang's. Plus this is better than PF Changs.

If you want something a bit faster, Pei Wei or Mark Pi's are both very good.

Does she like Cream of Sum Yung Gai?

12 replies and no one had yet made that comment...disappointing indeed.
