Most Workers Say They Work With Monkeys, Survey Says

CHICAGO -- What drives you bananas on the job?

If you said unprofessional, obnoxious co-workers, you've got company. A CareerBuildeer.com survey found 53 percent of workers asked feel like they work with a bunch of monkeys. Twenty percent think their boss is a monkey.

Of those who think they work in a zoo, 47 percent plan to change jobs in the next two years.

Among the things that make people go ape are the co-worker who constantly e-mails the person who is sitting right next to her, they guy who walks up and randomly scratches other peoples' backs and the slacker caught sleeping on the job more than once who would insist she was praying.

i work in cube world and the way they are setup your back is to the entrace of your cube. we have a guy here who will walk up behind you and start rubbing your shoulders. you'll be sitting there working and all the sudden someone is rubbing your shoulders. have i mentioned that im not a woman? while i haven't talked to him in almost 8 months i have reconfigured my desk so that you can't enter my cube without me seeing you regardless of how uncomfortable it is.

The guy who says the most inappropriate things and doesn't realized that he is doing it. One time one of the women was pregnant and he said "wow you're so big I can't see out the front window". I swear every woman in the office wanted to kill him. He had an aneurysm in his brain several months ago, but is back to work. Nothing can keep him down.

The guy that just simply talks too much is enough to drive me crazy. I've had several of these guys in the office before. You ask a simple question, and it takes him 20 minutes to get around to the answer. I'm bad at "escaping", too, because I don't want to seem rude.

have your cell phone in your pocket and call yourself on your office phone... just tell them you have to take the call... I've done that before with one of our salesmen.

The habitual liar annoys me. Thanks goodness he finally quit. Went to high school with the idiot, yet he still lied about sh*t I knew was a lie. Amazed the hell out of me every day.
